2014 Date Announced! The 7th annual Brambleton Ribbon Run/Walk on Saturday, April 5, 2014 (rain or shine) will bring together runners and walkers from the Brambleton community and beyond, united in an effort to fight breast cancer.

This community event attracts runners and walkers of all age groups, including young families with children participating in the “Kids Fun Run.’’ The event benefits The Step Sisters and their mission.

TEAM CHALLENGE
Make it more fun! Form a team to represent a family, company or a group of friends and compete against other teams. The first person registering with a team must set-up the team here: CREATE TEAM. The team name will then appear on the drop-down menu for others to select during the registration process.

Parking
Plenty of Parking is available in the parking garages at Brambleton Town Center, located off of North Star Blvd. Please follow the directional Event Parking signs.
Kids Fun Run!
Kids, get signed up for the Kids’ Fun Run and Enjoy the total race experience with your own event on a course of approximately a half mile distance! All registered participants will receive a cotton race t-shirt, and breakfast. Additionally, participants will receive a finishers’ keepsake!

Awards
Awards will be presented to the overall male and female in the following age groups:
5k: (youth groups top three) 6 and under, 7- 8, 9 – 10, 11 – 12, 13 – 14, 15 – 18, (adult groups, top two) 19 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 – 69, and 70+
10k: (kids groups top three) 10 and under, 11 – 13, 14 – 18, (adult groups, top two) 19 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 – 69, and 70+
T-shirt Details
All runners registered by Mar. 15 will receive a navy blue technical t-shirt to model during the race or wear as bragging rights post race! Have too many shirts? Choose to opt-out and save or donate a couple bucks. NOTE: Race shirts are guaranteed to all runners registered by March 15. Shirts may be available on first-come-basis for runners registering after this date, however shirts are NOT guaranteed. (no refunds will be issued if shirts are not available for runners registering after Mar. 15)

Race Start Times
Races will start in Brambleton Town Center under the balloon arch. 5k Walkers and those with strollers are asked to line up behind the pack at the designated walk signage. Pace signage will be displayed to assist runners in line up accordingly. Kids Fun Run will start at 9:15 AM at the start line under the balloon arch.

Post Race Activities:
Post Race Grab-n-Go Breakfast! - Blue Ridge Grill will be serving up egg, cheese & potato burritos, fruit, chocolate milk or coffee! If you opted IN for breakfast, your breakfast ticket will be attached to your bib and you can exchange it for your Grab-n-Go breakfast after you complete your race. Opted OUT of breakfast? No worries, Great Harvest Bread, FIResults and Kelly Insurance will be on hand with light snacks for your recovery. Grab n Go breakfast tickets not available on Race Day.
Awards Program: 9:15 or immediately following the Kids’ Fun Run
Kids’ Fun Run $10: Space is still available for the Kids Fun Run, scheduled to start at 9:10 am.This 1/2 mile distance is recommended for kids 12 and under. The first 150 registered kids get a t-shirt, finishers’ medal and breakfast! Register online at www.BrambletonRibbonRun.com.
Change your mind and need to switch races?
Please be sure to stop by the solutions table at Packet Pick Up on Friday, April 12th and make the switch official. Please keep in mind, should you NOT inform race officials of switching races, your timing results will not be available for review on race day, and you run the risk of your results being inaccurate. Switching races is understandable, BUT IT MUST BE DONE OFFICIALLY WITH RACE OFFICIALS AT PACKET PICK UP.
